The Continuous Flow Scale LiwOne (LO) is the right compromise for dosing and controlling production processes that require good precision, high capacity and small spaces. Thanks to its technology, it can be used both as a flow regulation tool and as control and totalization. The dosing regulation system via a servomotor-controlled dosing gate (similar to flow balancer) can only be used with granular materials, e.g. grain. The machine is typically used as feeder for first break passage in flour mills.
LO is composed of a feeder unit, designed with an innovative suction management system, a weighing container supported by 3 load cells that guarantee accuracy and stability and a servo-motor-controlled dosing unit.
During the unloading phase, the feeder unit is closed and the outlet is open in regulation mode. During this phase, the loss in weight is calculated. When the product inside the scale is less than a minimum value, the feeding gate is opened and the scale is quickly refilled. During this phase, the machine calculates the flow rate in “volumetric”. There must be a buffer hopper above the feeding unit, which is always full of product to ensure quick refill of the machine.
All the units are equipped with special doors for cleaning and maintenance. LO can be equipped with various types of inlet- and outlethoppers (both standard and custom-designed) and other accessories. Hoppers are always equipped with integrated product sensors to avoid overfilling of the machine.
The control panel is the result of many years of experience, and is designed and manufactured with components from leading brands to work even in difficult environments (IP65).
LO allows interfacing with digital and analogue remote controls and offers MODBUS TCP and PROFINET connections. Thanks to these features, LO is fully controllable both from the local display and remotely.
